A blurred line shadow

Hi, I'm Liz. If you're pouring so much of yourself into your work, your relationships, or your family that your own wellbeing has fallen to the bottom of the list, I want you to take a breath.

Every step taught me the same truth from a different angle: human beings are incredibly resilient, but we aren't meant to figure it all out in isolation. Those diverse experiences shaped how I work. In our sessions, I tune into the quieter parts of your story, the emotional undercurrents and hidden patterns that might be keeping you stuck, so we can find your way through them together.

On a personal note, I grew up in New York City, which means I have strong opinions about bagels. I love getting lost in a good book and I'm always on the hunt for a great matcha latte. Both my son and my labradoodle Olly keep life bright.

If you're looking for a therapist who will walk alongside you with genuine warmth, deep clinical insight, and zero judgment, I would love to connect.

You're not alone, and you don't have to keep running on empty. I know firsthand how quiet and heavy that kind of burnout can feel, and I know what it takes to climb out of it.

What drives my work is helping you reconnect with your inherent worth. Your value isn't defined by how much you accomplish, nor is it defined by what you've survived. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, or a massive life transition, I bring a steady, compassionate, and deeply grounded presence into our sessions.

My path to clinical therapy wasn't linear, and that non-traditional journey is exactly what makes me the clinician I am today. I began my career in education as a teacher and preschool director before transitioning into substance use administration and acute clinical care.

Therapy Modalties

I pull from a few different evidence-based approaches depending on what you are navigating and what feels right for you. I am not attached to any single method. What I am attached to is finding the one that actually helps.

You do not need to come in knowing what IFS or DBT means or whether one of them is the right fit. That is what we figure out together. What matters is that you show up, and I will meet you there.

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a skills-based therapy that balances acceptance with change to help individuals navigate intense emotional experiences. It directly teaches practical coping skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a model built on the idea that the mind is made up of distinct parts, each with its own protective role. Therapy involves getting to know these parts and helping them trust your core Self to lead rather than treating them as problems to eliminate.

  • Psychodynamic Therapy explores how past experiences and early relationships quietly shape the patterns, reactions, and struggles showing up in your life today. Rather than focusing only on symptom management, this approach works to uncover the deeper why behind cycles that feel impossible to break on your own.
